Our mission is to transform communities, starting with 3 acres in Cleveland’s Kinsman Neighborhood, part of what’s known as the Forgotten Triangle. We’ve reclaimed the land for growing fruits and vegetables, farming fish, creating soil from what others throw away and more. We’ve constructed two green houses, four hoop houses, a tepee, are adding an edible trail and a pond to add to our fish farming. We are a regional training center of the Milwaukee-based Growing Power, offering training and educational activities. Theses activities assist the community in conceptualizing the value of environmental stewardship.
Our vision is to significantly contribute towards reducing poverty through innovative solutions to enable everyone have access to clean water and sanitation. To be a social entrepreneurial organization, built on pro-poor technologies and approaches that leads to the development of appropriate innovations in the development of water resources with sustainable impacts.
Our expertise in organic regenerative Agriculture has its roots in our over 40-year experience in organic farming in southern Israel where we have thrived as certified organic agriculturists. Over the years we have fine-tuned our approach to crop production, ensuring the natural processes within living ecosystems of the soil and environment are maintained, thus creating a balance in which both micro-organisms and crops flourish.
